Creator network terms
What these terms cover
These terms govern membership of the Spektra creator network only. They are not a contract to do work. If a campaign is offered and accepted, a separate written agreement governs that campaign, and where that agreement and these terms conflict, the agreement controls. The network is operated by Synchron Entertainment AB, a company registered in Sweden, trading as Spektra.
Membership
Membership is free and non exclusive. Either side can end it at any time, without notice and without giving a reason. Spektra is under no obligation to offer you any campaign, any volume of work or any income, and you are under no obligation to accept anything we bring you.
How a campaign happens
Nothing is agreed until both sides accept a written campaign offer that states the client, the deliverable, the fee, the usage rights and the dates. Membership on its own never obliges you to produce or post anything.
No licence to your content
Other than the member listing described in the next section, joining grants Spektra no right to use, publish, edit, redistribute or monetise your content, name, image, voice, likeness or handles. Rights to your content are granted per campaign, only to the extent set out in that campaign’s written agreement, and are paid for. We will not use your posts, videos, photographs or other work in our marketing or a client’s campaign without a written agreement covering that use.
Listing you as a member
Membership includes our right to say publicly that you are a member. While you are a member, we may show your username or handle, your display name, your public profile picture, the platforms you are on and your publicly visible follower count on spektra.fm and in our own marketing materials, so that people can see who is in the network.
That right covers identifying you and nothing more. It does not extend to your posts, videos or other content, which stay excluded under the section above. We will not present you as endorsing Spektra or any client, and we will not suggest you have worked on a campaign that you have not.
The listing ends when your membership ends. Tell us you are leaving and we will remove you from the site, normally within seven days and in any event within thirty. Material already printed, cached or copied elsewhere may take longer to disappear, and we will make reasonable efforts to have it removed.
You can also ask us to remove your listing while remaining a member, at any time and without giving a reason. See your preferences.
Considering you for a campaign
Alongside the member listing above, this is the other thing membership allows. While you are a member, we may privately show your public profile information and your public content to a prospective client and to authorised delivery providers, purely so they can assess whether you fit a campaign. That is private assessment. It is not publication, and it is not an endorsement by you of anything.
What you confirm
- You are 18 or over.
- The information you give us is accurate.
- Your audience and engagement are genuine, and are not bought or artificially generated.
- Your membership does not conflict with an exclusivity obligation you already have.
- You will tell us if any of this stops being true.
Your information
We hold your contact details, your country, your handles, the audience and rate information you give us, your stated preferences, and our correspondence with you. We use it to match you to briefs, to contact you about campaigns, and for the private client assessment described above. We do not sell it. You can ask us to remove you by emailing hello@spektra.fm, subject to records we are required to keep by law. See our privacy policy for the full detail.
Payment
Where a campaign is agreed, the fee stated in that campaign’s agreement is paid to you. We do not deduct a commission from it. You are responsible for your own taxes and for any registrations your country requires of you.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is the one published on this page, with the date shown above. If a change materially affects existing members, we will notify them by email.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, and any dispute relating to them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden.
