The terms Spektra uses on this site, defined plainly. Each entry says what the term means, and what it is often confused with.

- Distribution EngineeringDistribution Engineering is the practice of building and operating the system that carries a valuable asset to its audience.
- Signal cycleA signal cycle is one full pass of the operated system. Response from each pass sets the next one.
- Operated loopThe operated loop is the standing machinery Spektra runs: the routes, accounts and instrumentation behind every cycle.
- Angle mapAn angle map is the ranked set of entry points through which one asset is presented.
- Distribution constraintA distribution constraint is the binding limit between an asset that is already good and the audience it never reaches.

- Platform-native formatA platform-native format is built for how a single platform is actually watched, rather than made once and posted everywhere.
- Asset inventoryAn asset inventory ranks what an organisation already owns, by how far each thing travels rather than what it cost.
- Owned audienceAn owned audience is the following an organisation keeps, and can reach again without paying twice.

- Distribution gapA distribution gap is the measured distance between the audience an asset reaches and the audience it could reach.
- Reach delivery rangeA reach delivery range states the band of reach one period is expected to deliver. Feeds are variable.
- Attention systemAn attention system maps where an audience spends time, which formats travel there, and who holds the ground you want.
